Aircraft Line Maintenance in DXB Dubai

Aircraft line maintenance services in DXB Dubai Airport is offered by around 20 companies. Around 15 companies are active. Most of the companies are owned by an Airlines while few are independent Aircraft maintenance Organization. It is to be noted currently there are two international Airports in Dubai. DXB located in Deira is known as Dubai international Airport, where 90 Percent of the Passenger Aircrafts operate. DWC also known as Dubai world Central is located in Jabel Ali is where 90 Percent of the cargo Aircrafts operate. We will only discuss about the Aircraft line maintenance services providers in DXB airport.

What is required for an Aircraft Line maintenance in DXB Dubai

A good Line maintenance provider in Dubai international Airport should be well recognized with EASA part 145 Approval and must have the capability to handle lots of Aircrafts type. Since DXB is busy, the service provider must help the Airliner to minimize ground time incase of AOG. An Excellent Storage facility is a huge advantage for the service provider and its customers.

Mach technic Aircraft maintenance started to set up the company In march 2020. With the growing demand for Aircraft line maintenance services, Mach Technik is capable of serving Almost all Available commercial Aircraft type. Mach Technik holds an EASA part 145 approval. Mach Technik has an excellent storage facility in DXB Dubai. According it’s website Mach Technik plans operate in DWC and SHJ soon.

Oman Air Engineering is part of Oman air. One of reputed Airlines from the wealthy state of Oman. Oman Air station is currently closed at DXB Dubai. Previously they closed the station in Abu Dhabi as well. Though Oman Air flew A330 , B737 and B787, they were only handling B737 NG.

Dnata One of the biggest name in the Aviation ground handling business. Ground handling is one of the tough and competitive business. Dnata is the most successful Aviation ground handler with a history of more than 60 years, is an Emirates group company with global present.
Dnata came up with its Aircraft Line Maintenance wing in 2014.
The set up and it’s reputation brought them customers in no time.
Dnata was handling approximately 800 to 1000 transits per month. For unknown reasons it was closed during 2015. After the shutdown of the company Dnata only offers headset arrival and departure for customer Airliners.
